Practice Purposeful Negotiation
Step into one side of a realistic dispute and negotiate directly with a responsive AI counterpart. Explore interests, exchange proposals, manage concessions, and work toward a workable outcome at your own pace.
For students, practitioners, and curious learners. No practice account required.
How It Works
Follow this path for your first session.
Set Up Your Practice
Choose Start Practicing, select a Practice Case, and choose the party you will represent. The included sample is a useful first session.
Enter and Read Your Brief
Select Enter Practice Room. Open Shared Case Brief and Your Private Role Brief under Resources. You negotiate for your chosen party; the AI plays the other side.
Begin the Conversation
Type your opening in Practice Message and select Send. Follow up on the counterpart’s objections; politeness alone will not secure concessions. Open Practice Steps & Tips for optional guidance.
Finish, Reflect, and Download
Below the conversation, select Finish / Pause, choose a Practice Outcome, and write your closing record. Select Generate Practice Feedback. On the feedback screen, use Download Transcript and Download Feedback before leaving.
Your private brief becomes available after you enter the room. You do not need an administrator account to practice.
PRIVACY & YOUR WORK
Download Your Practice Before Leaving
Your practice conversation and AI assessment stay in this page. The lab does not save a session you can return to later.
Use fictional material or remove names and sensitive details from real situations. Case material and messages are sent to OpenAI when you use AI features.
Privacy & Data Use
The site does not retain original uploads. Administrator case records and their prior versions remain saved until permanently removed. Pilot reviews and optional contact details are saved privately for the site administrator until removed; your transcript is not attached.
Temporary usage counters contain no conversation or review text. AI provider retention depends on its policies and account settings. Read OpenAI’s Data Policies (New Tab).
